She was chosen by State Senators Ryan Aument and Scott Martin to fill the vacancy left by Judge Totaro and unanimously confirmed by the Republican-led State Senate.
She is a Family Law judge who has presided over 900 Protection From Abuse (PFA) listings, over 200 Indirect Criminal Contempt cases/hearings, over 350 Child Support Contempt hearings, over 60 Child Support Appeal hearings, over 100 Temporary PFA hearings, and over a dozen custody trials with filed opinions and orders since being appointed.
